BY THE BAIKAL TRACKS”
Among reserves and parks of Russia the Zabaikalsku National Park is
always concerned to number of active rest for the fans as in our country and
abroad.
Scientists consider the park to be one of only a few parks in Russia
that fully meets UNESCO requirements for the protection of special nature
areas. Zabaikalsky National Park became one of unique and makes more than 20 %
by all flora of Zabaikalya beginning from bird-cherry-tree and ordinary pine up
to high-mountainous Siberian cedar.
The animal world is rich and fauna is various. There are the largest
promise place of seals on Ushkany islands of the Baikal Lake. There are bears,
wolves, lambs, aurockes, ondatra, ermines or stoats, fiber and sable on the
territory of the Park. It is various of ornithofauna: the tens of disappearing
and rare kind of birds.
We invite you to make travel to Zabaikalsky National Park
on Chivirkuy Bay. The experts-ecologists call this Bay as “a pearl in the Crown
of Baikal”.
The route begins in Ulan-Ude, the capital of the Republic Buryatiya.
Durations: ten days, nine nights. The program works since June till September.

Such points enter into the cost of travel: residing, three meals a day
(European, Siberian, Buryat cookings) internal transfers, excursions,
guide-excursion to Ulan-Ude, support of a conductor on an active part of a
route, medical insurance.
The special conditions: the part of a route passes on territory of the
Zabaikalsky National Park, where there are no roads and comfortable hotels. It
is necessary for the tourists to have sport-tourist footwears and clothes,
meane of protection from bad-weather, personal equipments (tourist rug,
sleeping bag and rucksack). The participants must have a medical inculation of
the lick encephalitis or take special medical preparation with them. The rent
of missing tourist equipment and medcal preporation are not included into the
cost of the route.
Residing in Ulan-Ude has two variants the first:
accommodation and hotel residing in “Buryatiya”. The second: accommodation both
residing in the houses and apartments of private sector of the city in premises,
separate of the owners. The owners prepare cooking. Cooking to order European,
Siberian, Buryat, a common toilet is in the street. The absence of a water pipe
in a premise, the public bath, summer souls. The opportunity of washing and
ironing of clothes is independent. Additional services in the arrangement. The
cost of residing 450 rubles per day.
The first day: Arrival in Ulan-Ude. Meeting and accommodation, transfer.
Survey bus excursion “Ulan-Ude, the capital of Buryatiya”, with visiting of
noteworthy places and monuments of city. Excursion in an Ethnographic museum of
the peoples of Zabaikalya open-air, visiting orthodox and Buddhist of temples.
The second day: Transfer Ulan-Ude – item Bargusin (bus, 314 kms). The
beginning of an active part of travel (on foot 10 kms). The route passes on an
ecological track “The Way to a Clean Baikal”, which arrangement since 1995,
together with Zabaikalsky National Park, the “Laboratory of Active Tourism-LAT”
is engaged Ulan-Udinsky children’s ecological association in. Transition up to
winter lodge at Gremyachy Stream. Lodging for the night.
The third day: An ascention on Bargusin mountain ridge (5 kms).
Transition in a valley of Khozhaly Stream (8 kms). Lodging for the night.
The forth: An output to the hinge crossing to a ferry through the river
Bolshoy Chivirky (8 kms). Transition up to the river Dubari (6 kms). Lodging
for the night.
The fifth day: Transition up to the Markushkina Stream (10 kms). Lodging
for the night.
The sixth day: An output to an old channel of the river Bolshoy Chivirky
and to water-meadows (7 kms). Transition up to wood of cordon on a coast of
Chivirkuy Bay (9 kms).
The seventh day: Rest on cordon. The public bath in the
Bay, fishing, tax of mushrooms, berries and cedar of nuts.
The eighth day: Survey excursion on a boat on Chivirkuy Bay. Visiting of
a Zmeinaya Bay on a peninsula a Svyatoy Nos, bathing in thermal a source. The
source is characterized hydrocarbonato-sylphitesodium by structure of water
with the contents with sulphurelted from 10 up to 23 mg/l, temperature of water
up to 45 with.
The ninth day: Transfer item Monakhovo-with Maksimikha (bus). Visiting
of a house-museum of the national artist of Republic Buryatiya Shelkovnikov.
Transfer with Maksimikha-Ulan-Ude (bus). Accommodation. Lodging for the night.
The tenth day: Transfer in the airport/railway station of Ulan-Ude.
